Day #2- The Mighty Mars!

Today we landed on the big Red Planet Mars. We were able to travel in hyperspeed and we roamed outside the space ship in our special Mars suits. Mars looks very much like our own Mojave Desert, but the soil is much more of a red color. After conducting scientific experiments on the soil we have discovered that is iron-oxide that makes it that distinct color. On entry into the atmospher we could see mountain ranges and crates on the surface of the planet. The atmosphere here is composed mostly of carbon dioxide and we have measured winds of up to 300 miles per hour and temperatures of 60 degrees below zero.

I have been doing weight training during my required excersice time on the ship which has helped me be able to gather numberous samples of rock which I will be taking back to the ship for analysis. I have been keeping my area on the ship very neat and clean because that is important for good hygine. Unfortunately, one of my space rocks broke up in my hand due to some kind of strange bacteria. Under the microscope I could see the bacteria was actually molecule sized alien beings! I have put them in special container so we can conduct tests on them when we return to earth! What a great discovery.

My calculations put us at 141,050,000 miles from the sun! Time for us to head back, a little closer to the sun on our wonderful planet earth!
